Led by world-renowned percussionist, Bashiri
Johnson (Michael Jackson / Sting / Whitney Houston) and
Sheldon Goode (Elton John, Patti LaBelle, Whitney Houston),
StudioTraxx.com teamed up with some of today's most sought
after major label studio musicians on an unprecedented online
song production contest! This contest originated from Bashiri's
desire to "give
back" to
the music business, which has blessed him with a long and successful
career.
After endless review, we are pleased to annouce
that our grand prize winner is Brotha
Mello Bondz!
His song, "Ghetto Child," was produced via the StudioTraxx.com
website with each musician working remotely on their individual
pieces from their own studios. Final mix and mastering was graciously
sponsored by Cakewalk and completed on March 26th at Studio 4
(Fusebox) at Manhattan Center Studios in the heart of NYC. The
song will be made available for download on Kerchoonz.com, a
leading music download site.
In addition
to having his song produced online by major label musicians,
Mello also received the following prize items:

Brotha Mello Bondz Bio
Brotha Mello Bondz, also known as B.Mello is an underground
hip hop artist under the independent music label, Scavengerland
Records. His lastest CD/DVD release, "BILLION DOLLAR BABIES," showcases
19 rap music tracks and 8 rap music videos.
Born and raised in the New York / New Jersey area, Mello relocated
down south to central florida to start his own record label and
produce other artists. Now residing in the Tampa / Tarpon
Springs Area, Mello oversees the label as CEO
and still manages to perform 3 to 4 nights per week.
